I think this makes the intent pretty clear. I hope everyone who spreads the FUD about Microsoft suing over the specifications are satisfied. In looking at the statement, I can't see very many other interpretations that can be brought against it.

Apparently the Vista Sounds were very important...
Hope you like all the work that went into them. The main man, Jim Allchin, talks about the effort that goes into the sounds alone.

Things just keep moving ahead. Mono keep advancing their implementation of the [clr] and how the runtime operates. Congratulations to those guys and continued success. This only solidifies the validity of .NET.
I really like the fact that they created their own Mono.Unix namespace to hold all Unix native libraries.

Interesting sentiments from the founder of Atari. I think the end will show out. They may still carry forward on just name alone, but I think XBox will surprise quite a few people the go around. particularly Sony.

While very confrontational, I do feel that responsibility for internal issues should be dealt with instead of just swept under a rug. That is not to say that the issues are only internal, but I would also argue that while we point to everyone else, wee need to make sure that we cover our own internal issues as well.

Even though now they are a bit outdated, if you are a VB developer and have a sense of humor, you will love VBTV. Ari Bixhorn (who still is not fired by the way) is one of the hosts for this wacky show introducing VB developers to the world of .NET.
They turned the world of training videos on its head and made actually learning the new features of VB.NET fun and interesting. Beginners to programming with VB.NET may find some of the information a great way to get started. I am having my sister look at them as a beginning to her learning VB.NET from me. Hopefully I won't screw her up.
