Anyone heard of such a thing? It seems that most are for machines that are logged in all the time. All I want to do is setup a service that downloads the podcasts to a local machine that holds all my media. That way I can stream those files to my XBox or any other computer on my network without having to have the client open all the time. Anyone else heard of such a tool?
I never saw Major Victory not being in the top 2. That is something that really threw me. Yes he did not do as well as Fat Mamma in the classroom, he was still an excellent hero. So I hope It all works out for him in the end. It would have been interesting to see where his character would go.
Well I have enjoyed the show on SciFi Channel Who Wants To Be A Superhero.
One of the reasons is the golden beauty Lemuria. She is based on some legends of Atlantis and a city called Lemuria. Based on this a young lady decided to create a superhero based partly on these legends.
Her story was great and the person behind it seemed caring and sweet. Unfortunately, just before you get to the final three, she was eliminated. I was proud that she was able to reach the final 4 before being eliminated.
So where should she go from here? Me personally I think her character story and powers would fit a comic very well. You have the good side of her powers with the sun and fire and lasers, but also the dark side of her powers with the absorption of life energy and being powerless at night. So there is great conflict in her story. She is a normal girl in extraordinary situations. I believe that a comic should be pursued and shopped to various comic houses. See if the character has legs. Maybe even she could do a web comic series to drum up support just like the show did. Then from there the sky can be the limit. But the beginning is to capitalize on the fan base that existed to put her on the show in the first place.
Also, reach out to her fans on the message boards and on the Internet. They helped get her on the show and she should keep those people in mind in the future.
It appears in the hustle and busstle that I missed the fact that the Mono project has created a Visual Basic compiler built in Visual Basic.
This is really cool and I think going forward will solidify the .NET platform even more.
Congradulations to the team on getting this done in a decent time.
I love the PostXING tool and the ability to integrate the playing music. Feature wise they are all about the same though. So it will interesting to see the evolution of the tool.
One positive out of the project is that I learned a lot about Subversion and how to work with it.
This tool created in particular for Live Spaces but also works for just about everything else is pretty sweet. I do think the UI could use a bit more work, but it does seem to be a greate tool for editing and working with blogs.
