PowerShell is coming along. It would be nice if it was folded into the CMD as a true part of the shell and not just an add on. Maybe a setting that turns on the power features or always have them on.

In a few little tests, it seems pretty powerful and I would love to incorporate that into a few scripts that I write. Mostly I use VBScript right now,but I would love to move up to a native shell.

At least I have 720p, that's enough for now...

The Halo re-enactment was the best. Though I love the water ballons too.

Scott has a list of features coming in IIS 7 and the capabilities provided by them. I have used IIS since version 4 and have loved engine for a long time. It is nice to see it getting the deeper love and attention that it needed. I hope that this leads to a new boom in innovation for the product.

Scoble has some people who say so. I understand some of the underlying issues the author was referring to. I played with the February CTP and I took it as the UI is still being baked or that I just did not have the best drivers.

There is plenty that can be improved. From the PDC they did say that Longhorn may not look like that in the end, but it is a good goal to shoot for. With all the openness that [Microsoft] is presenting recently, I really understand why some things will not always live up to their goals.

The thing is that my upgrading experience needs to be much better when I have the latest PC (i.e. All the drivers need to come along soon).

Rob has an interesting thing about them. I never knew they existed, and I lived and breathed SharePoint for about 6 months.

An interesting post on Channel 9 asked the question how to pass a class between endpoints of a web service.

The rule of thumb is that you don't. You pass MESSAGES and not classes. You can conceptually create a totally different class with different methods and map the message parts to the proper fields in the class.

Great to see that MSBee is providing even greater fruit. There is a blog entry that goes over the requirements for using Team Build to create .NET 1.1 applications.
