These are older put a pretty interesting set of redirections. The other thing about Alternate Access Mappings is the fact that the content is linked and mapped to a URL. So that may also be a factor that you want to consider.

Redirection options in SharePoint
I see questions about redirecting users in SharePoint all the time. Usually they're in the context of "I want to redirect users, can I do this with an Alternate Access Mapping?" SharePoint admins know that if they don't set their AAMs up correctly that SharePoint will bounce their users around like a SuperBall, so they hope they can harness that power for good, instead of evil. While you can in certain circumstances most likely you will want to use a different approach. In this blog post I will show you several different to redirect users in SharePoint. Then when you find yourself needing to, you can use the method best suited for your situation.

This is a good overview of some of the changes to the diagnostic log settings for SharePoint 2010. Some much clearer settings compared to MOSS 2007.

After modifying the file for both version 12 and version 14, it works perfectly. It does not change the gadget file so maybe the developers can modify the file so it looks for 12 and higher instead of just 12.
The Outlook Upcoming Appointments gadget shows you your next three to five upcoming appointments from your Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 calendar in the Vista Sidebar, just as they appear in the Outlook 2007 To-Do Bar. You can double click on appointments to open them in Outlook. The theme of the gadget matches the theme of Office. If you are receiving security prompts, you can turn off the option to see the appointment organizer. This gadget only works with Outlook 2007.

These interviews were an awesome walk through memory lane. And for the record, I started my Visual Studio work around the Visual Studio 6 time frame (though I used Borland C++ in class before that). In fact, I remember the first release of .NET back in the day. I was a VB man my self, but I was working strongly with C++ too.
Welcome to the Visual Studio Documentary. This is an hour long documentary that is split into two parts. Roughly a half hour each. Welcome to part two, where we dive straight into life at Microsoft during the Java Lawsuit. Here is Part One in case you missed it. Next week we will begin to publish each interviewee's full length interview for an even deeper look.

Welcome to the first installment of the Visual Studio Documentary. This is an hour long documentary that is split into two parts, roughly a half hour each. Welcome to part one, where we take you back to the days of MS-DOS and Alan Cooper who originally sold Visual Basic to Bill Gates back in 1988. Next week we will feature Part Two but for those that would like to watch it sooner, here is Part Two. In addition, each week we will post a longer and more in-depth stand alone interview from the interviewees that were featured in the documentary.

This was a cool movie. Take the time to check it out. Even the wifie who was not into the cartoons liked it.
When Tariq Nasheed was talking about the name of Spelman College in his video the facts are there that Spelman College was named for Rockefeller’s wife
Giles and Packard began the school with 11 African-American women and $100 given to them by a church congregation in Medford, Massachusetts.[1] In 1882 the two women returned to Massachusetts to bid for more money and were introduced to wealthy businessman John D. Rockefeller at a church conference in Ohio.[1]
In 1883, the school relocated to a nine acre (36,000 m²) site in Atlanta relatively close to the church they began in, which originally had only five buildings to support classroom and residence hall needs. The school was able to survive on generous donations by the black community in Atlanta, the efforts of volunteer teachers, and gifts of supplies.
In April 1884, Rockefeller visited the school and decided that he liked what he saw, so he settled the debt on the property. The name of the school was changed to the Spelman Seminary in honor of Laura Spelman, an Oread student and wife of John D. Rockefeller[1] who helped to fund the school, and her parents who were longtime activists in the anti-slavery movement. Rockefeller's gift precipitated interest from other benefactors

I watched the TV show again recently and remembered how much I loved that show.
Since there were no Facebook pages for some of the characters, I decided to crate some for some of my favorites.
I hope to eventually make more, but for now this was pretty good start. A few other favorites are Major Victory, HyperStrike, and Creature. Dark Enforcer/Iron Enforcer was cool but not a hero… Hopefully others who like the show will eventually create pages for their characters.
It is also available on Zune as well Who Wants To Be A Superhero.
This is an AWESOME tool for web editing if the Visual Studio tools are not to your liking.

I knew what I had in an Xbox, despite the hardware issues, I never regretted it.
I was concerned that the hardware would be under powered but it has kept up and done better than I would have thought. I think the next cycle you might see dual GPUs or maybe more rendering pipelines with the utilization technologies that exist today.
Either way, Xbox is the best one in my opinion.
The Xbox 360's identity may come with the arrival of Project Natal, a new controller concept that takes Nintendo’s idea, but pushes it into the future. In some way, it seems that Microsoft has adapted Apple’s strategy of taking an idea or product that has potential and making it better. Natal does away with the need for a controller entirely; instead of holding some plastic device in your hands, you will be able to just use your hands or any other device you feel comfortable with to play your games. For example, in a skateboarding game, you could use a regular skateboard.

Make sure you are counted!!!
Well I like this, but I would LOVE x64 support more.

Keith Olbermann has become a voice of sanity in our news/politics. thanks in part to him the issues of the Iraq war, Health care, and financial reform have all come front and center in the lives of Americans. it is unfortunate that he has suffered losses like this back to back. I hope his family stays uplifted and he takes solace in the fact that the lessons his parents taught him have helped create not only a good person but a treasure for the nation.
By the way, I was miffed when he left ESPN I wondered why, well now I see his true calling.
My father died, in the city of his birth, New York, at 3:50 EST this afternoon.
Though the financial constraints of his youth made college infeasible, he accomplished the near-impossible, becoming an architect licensed in 40 states. Much of his work was commercial, for a series of shoe store chains and department stores. There was a time in the 1970's when nearly all of the Baskin-Robbins outlets in the country had been built to his design, and under his direction. Through much of my youth and my early adult life, it was almost impossible to be anywhere in this country and not be a short drive to one of "his" stores.
My Dad was predeceased last year by my mother, Marie, his wife of nearly 60 years. He died peacefully after a long fight against the complications that ensued after successful colon surgery last September at the New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center. My sister Jenna and I were at his side, and I was reading him his favorite James Thurber short stories, as he left us.
I can't say enough about Dr. Jeff Milsom and his team at the hospital, and all of those physicians and nurses and staffers in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit who looked after my Dad all this time, and kept him in their hearts. And I feel the same way about all of you who have expressed your best wishes and prayers to him, and to me, and to our family.
My Dad was my biggest booster. A day after I was hired by CNN in the summer of 1981 as a two-week vacation relief sports reporter, I traveled by train to my childhood hometown, and walked from the station towards my folks' house. I was stopped half a dozen times before I got to my Dad's office by people congratulating me on my impending television debut. There was, of course, only one way they could have known. My Dad, the press agent.
Of course it was he and my Mom who took me to my first Yankees games (even though my father nursed a delightful grudge against the team for trading away his favorite players, Steve Souchock and Snuffy Stirnweiss - in 1948 and 1950). But as my interest in the sport began to take the shape of a dreamt-of career, it was my Dad also sacrificed family vacations so we could buy ever more tickets to Yankee games. When we could afford both games and vacations, four times those vacations were to Spring Training.
He was my inspiration, and will always remain so. His bravery these last six months cannot be measured. He is as much my hero now, as he was when I was five years old.
